Payment

Pay Pal is our chosen method of payment. We believe that this is the safest and securest way for our customers to pay for their on-line purchases.

Don't have a Pay Pal account?
No problem. You can still pay using Pay Pal with your credit card by following the simple steps from the checkout.

Other: We will also accept Direct Deposit, Australia Post Money Orders and Bank Cheque however when paying by these methods goods can only be dispatched when deposits/cheques/money orders have cleared. Please contact us if you wish to pay by any of these means. We are on hand to help you through.

Note: Unpaid Orders – Items are returned to stock when payments are not received within 7 days after placing your order.

Return and Exchange Policy

Karimu understands that internet shopping is different from being able to handle and investigate items the way you do in a conventional store. That is why we promise to provide the best products possible. However, if you are in anyway unhappy with your purchase we will happily return/exchange the item/s provided:

  1. All items are returned within 20 days of receipt. No exchange, credit or refund can be given after 20 days.
  2. The product(s) must be as new, ie: unused, unworn, unwashed, undamaged, unsoiled and in their original packaging and/or tags attached.
  3. Call (0405316455) or email us This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it with the following details at hand: Your Name, Invoice Number, Product Name, Reason for return or request for replacement, exchange, credit or refund.
  4. We will advise a postal address for the returned products.

Please note: Postage/shipping and handling of products is not refundable unless product is deemed faulty. Under no circumstances will a refund or credit be given if the products received are used, worn, washed, soiled, damaged or without original packaging and/or tags attached. These items will be returned to the customer.

It is suggested that you send your return package by receipted post or express post, as Karimu cannot be held responsible for any product lost/damaged in transit.

Please note that refunds, exchanges or credits can not be given for special order or custom made items.

If exchanging the item you may select an alternative product, however if the replacement item is priced higher than the item exchanged you will be required to pay for the difference.

We charge a minimum shipping charge when replacing goods (unless faulty, please read below).

Exceptions to Returnable Products

Products offered on Sale are not returnable unless faulty. This type of sale is considered final.

Products Deemed Faulty

Karimu prides itself on quality control and checks all products to the best of its ability before sending them out.

In the rare instance that a product is faulty, Karimu will replace it or provide a credit or refund with no charge for any extra postage and handling provided, the fault is reported to us within 30 days of receipt.

Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer after 30 days of receipt.

Normal warranty periods apply and vary depending on the individual product.

Note that Karimu makes no warranties or representations of any kind for the products being offered. Any warranties made are by the manufacturers themselves.

Faulty products will only be replaced with an identical item and can not be exchanged for another product after 30 days from receipt. Where the item is discontinued a store credit will be offered.

Please call/e-mail before returning any goods.

Packages Damaged in Transit

Karimu takes great care when packaging your order. In the unfortunate case that your order does get damaged please note the following:

Deliveries within Australia

The risk of loss/damage passes to you upon our delivery to Australia Post however we do consider any damage to goods on a case-by-case basis.

 

Deliveries

At Karimu we value your custom and strive for excellence in service 100% of the time. We aim to have your order packed and shipped out by the next business day.

Regular post

All orders are posted via regular post unless you state otherwise. Express post is charged per item weight within Australia. (refer to www.auspost.com.au for more post details).

Insurance

All deliveries via Registered post, is charged at an extra $2.40. We recommend that you choose this option if you would like your order insured up to $100.00. Delivery on Registered post is similar to normal Australian post delivery times.

Currency

We trade in Australian Dollars only.

International Orders

Karimu is happy to deliver Worldwide. Contact us with your order details and we can advise you of the postal charges.

International Deliveries

The risk of loss/damage passes to you upon our delivery to Australia Post. Unfortunately the longer the distance the package travels the more likely it is to be lost/damaged and therefore we recommend you consider our international insurance which we will happy arrange for you at your cost.
